Were you wearing flares, a beard, long hair, being famous or not? Driving a VW, a Dodge or Ute? Rocking to Split Enz, dreaming of Suzanne or singing Bowie’s latest hits? Or maybe you simply couldn't wait to see Big Ted, Little Ted, Humpty, Jemima and Manu on Play School. We all were cheering for the Rowing Eight as they won the Olympic Gold and celebrating Rod Dixon’s bronze - as well as wondering what the funny dance was that the All Blacks did at the start of each game. But most of all, we were just being Kiwi’s - and proud of it!

We want to know what you were up to when Anchor Wire was opening its first factory and signing up its first Chainlink customers in 1972.

PRIZES
There are dozens of prizes to be won including:

• Anchor Grandstand for One:  These are a unique and exciting prize: filled with New Zealand made classics. Ideal to use when watching your favourite sporting event.
   
• Private Swimming Lesson with Lauren Boyle: New Zealand representative, Lauren, will provide a swimming lesson to the winner's children or grand children (aged 8-18, 3 children). This is an amazing prize if you have kids who are into competitive swimming or water sports.
   
• There are also lots of other prizes to be won, so you have a great chance of winning a prize when you enter.

RULES

1. You must be over 18 years old and live in New Zealand to enter.
2. All decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
3. This competition is not open to any Anchor employee, family member or marketing/sales contractors.
4. The competition opens on the 1st of July 2016 and is open until the 4th of August 2016. No entries made before or after these dates will be eligible for prizes.
5. Prizes will be drawn on the 10 of August 2016.
6. By sending photos or video, you agree that you own the rights to these images and video footage and that they can be used by Anchor Wire Ltd in any way that Anchor chooses: including for promotional purposes on any advertising medium (online or offline) without limit.
